Kentucky Pumpkin Barrel Ale – Alltech’s Lexington Brewing Co.
Sweetness, bourbon and vanilla on the nose with maybe a hint of cinnamon and spice. Tasted very sweet and incredibly similar to the regular Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale that Alltech makes. If there was a pumpkin in there, it was hiding behind the sweet vanilla and caramel, maybe there was a smidge of taste-able pumpkin. Not much to talk about on the spice front either kinda subdued. If your a fan of Innis & Gunn or KBOBA you’ll probably enjoy this brew.
